Mark and Dana Hill launched Perfectly Posh because they wanted to create a company that would make women feel pampered and confident. The Hills had both been involved in the direct selling industry for many years before launching Perfectly Posh. How do Perfectly Posh consultants make money?
Perfectly Posh consultants make money by selling Perfectly Posh products and recruiting other people to become Perfectly Posh consultants. Perfectly Posh pays its consultants through a commission structure.
The Perfectly Posh compensation plan has five levels:
- Consultant: Perfectly Posh consultants earn 20% commission on the products they sell. They also earn a $50 bonus for every three new consultants they recruit.
- Director: Perfectly Posh directors earn 25% commission on the products they sell. They also earn a $100 bonus for every six new consultants they recruit.
- Executive Director: Perfectly Posh executive directors earn 30% commission on the products they sell. They also earn a $200 bonus for every nine new consultants they recruit.
- Presidential Director: Perfectly Posh presidential directors earn 35% commission on the products they sell. They also earn a $300 bonus for every twelve new consultants they recruit.
- Founder’s Circle Director: Perfectly Posh Founder’s Circle directors earn 40% commission on the products they sell. They also earn a $400 bonus for every fifteen new consultants they recruit.
To qualify as a Perfectly Posh director, you must have at least three active consultants in your downline. To qualify as an executive director, you must have at least six active consultants in your downline. To qualify as a presidential director, you must have at least nine active consultants in your downline. And to qualify as a Founder’s Circle director, you must have at least twelve active consultants in your downline.
Perfectly Posh also has a monthly bonus program where consultants can earn up to $500 in bonus commissions. To qualify for the monthly bonus, Perfectly Posh consultants must reach certain sales goals.
How about complaints or lawsuits?
Perfectly Posh has been around since 2011 and in that time, the company has had its share of complaints and lawsuits. In 2013, Perfectly Posh was sued by a former distributor who claimed that the company was operating as a pyramid scheme. The lawsuit was eventually dismissed.
In 2015, Perfectly Posh agreed to settle a class action lawsuit that accused the company of using misleading income claims. Perfectly Posh did not admit to any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $650,000 to settle the lawsuit.
In 2016, Perfectly Posh was again sued by a former distributor who claimed that the company was operating as a pyramid scheme. This lawsuit is still pending.
Perfectly Posh has also had a number of complaints filed against it with the Better Business Bureau. Most of these complaints center around Perfectly Posh’s return policy and billing issues.
Perfectly Posh has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The company has been accredited by the BBB since 2013. Perfectly Posh has 34 complaints closed with the BBB in the last three years, which is a very small number for a company of its size. Most of the complaints against Perfectly Posh are about billing and shipping issues.
