I don’t think they own CallRail or I could be wrong. They push CallSling. I believe they own that. What are cheaper options than CallRail?

Sorry to hear about your experience, Steve. There are lots of less expensive options than CallRail! CallRail is yet another upsell they use.

But that’s the hard thing, with his strategies, you can’t get on page 1 or page 2 with local lead gen. First page for local lead gen is literally flooded with directory sites like thumbtack, home advisor. Did anyone actually Make money with just pure lead gen with no GMB? It is clear that Google only wants real businesses on MapPack not leadgens. I haven’t don’t GMB because it feels like I’m skirting the system trying to get some fake address.

My only cost is CallRail. Wondering if there is anything cheaper than that. I can see why Dan always says don’t focus killing squirrels (lowering expenses) because that’s how he makes all his money!!

I honestly feel cheated, not sure if I can make my money back. Nobody is checking page 5 of Google.

Short version is that with rank and rent you need to spend a bunch of money and time to rank sites or run ads before you ever land a client. With the LMV method, you land the client first and the client then pays all your expenses plus profit. If you never find a client with rank and rent, you’re out a ton of money. Whereas with LMV, you’re not out anything and can just keep looking for a client.

I am wondering though why LMV is such a better route to take than rent and rank?
I mean you mentioned in both reviews that you gave potential clients leads using Dan’s methods and had all the objections you mentioned above.

But than when. using LMV method you did the same thing, giving business leads and that worked our for you? I dont understand what the difference was?

Also, with the LMV model dont you have to keep investing money into ads to generate leads vs eventually getting organic traffic from SEO?

And with the rank and rent method you could also start by running ads to a site first go to a potential client with these leads and than land the deal without waiting for your site to rank. So you could run ads for a little while, until it ranks and than. you can stop ads vs the other model which sounds like you keep running ads.
