There are tons of products out there claiming they will help support immunity and keep you healthy, but do they actually keep you from getting sick? I’ll explore the following questions: What are immune booster supplements? Do supplements claiming to help your immune system work? What are some ways to strengthen your immune system? And can boosting immunity prevent COVID-19?

An immune booster is a supplement that allegedly helps the human body to fight infection and disease. Supplements may be in pill, liquid or ointment form.
Immune boosters are supposed to boost your immunity by providing nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin C and selenium which strengthen cells of the immune system such as T-cells and white blood cells.
Immune boosters are often used to help the body fight off colds, allergies and flu-like symptoms when they start to appear or have already developed.

There are also plenty of other companies that sell similar products with different names like VitaC Boost or ImmunEase Immune System Enhancer. These products often contain ingredients which help support the immune system and may also help reduce pain or inflammation.
